Published August 2019, the fourth of a five volume study into the very earliest Romany communities in the British Isles. This volume covers the following seven families, Buckley (Buckland), Burton, Carey, Coates, Cooper, Deighton, and Draper, tracing them from their earliest known origins in the Tudor or Stuart era, through to the dawn of the 20th century, utlising parish records, newspaper reports and various other sources, which are drawn together to give an account as complete as possible of each family and their development. ​
